Matching & Process
Pivoters uses its Conversation Mode to understand more deeply what both sides need and want than is possible with just resumes and job descriptions. Our advanced matching technology then uses all that information to match experience, preferences, and role requirements in order to create aligned introductions based on overall fit - not just keywords.
Pricing
Yes. Creating a profile and joining the matching pool is completely free to job seekers.
Privacy
Yes. Names and contact details are hidden until both sides specifically give their permission to exchange their contract information in order to connect.
Using Pivoters
Conversation Mode is a guided digital interview with the Pivoters platform that helps job seekers and employers clearly describe what they’re looking for and what they have to offer. Conversation mode allows for each side to provide the platform with a rich set of information from which to make the strongest matches. Both sides are also able to enter their information through a text-entry format.

About Pivoters
Pivoters is not a traditional job board. There is no public list of open jobs and no database of candidates to browse.
Instead, Pivoters connects the right people to the right jobs in a structured and intentional way. Once a strong match is identified, each side decides whether they would like to move forward and exchange contact information.
For Job Seekers
Pivoters is open to all types of jobs and all types of candidates. The jobs can include part-time, full-time, or flexible roles; in-person, remote, or hybrid roles; front-line, professional, or managerial roles; individual or team roles; and roles with prerequisites and roles without. Whatever you’re looking for!
For Employers
Employers often struggle to find suitable candidates without sifting through large volumes of unqualified applicants. Pivoters delivers prioritized matches from the full database, in order to streamline the process and focus on alignment over volume.
Matching & Process
No. A match indicates alignment and mutual interest, but final hiring decisions remain with the employer and a final acceptance decision remains with the candidate. Interviews, background checks, and any additional evaluation steps are determined by the employer and candidate, and take place outside the platform.
Pricing
Pivoters is currently in its launch phase, during which employer access is at no cost.
After the launch phase, employers will pay $75 when they like a matched candidate they have been provided and want to talk further to them, and the candidate in turn is interested in the job and is ready to connect and move forward. With the payment, the platform will unlock the match for both sides and provide contact details.
Privacy
Only after:
- A match exists
- Both sides express interest
- The employer agrees to payment on its side
- Required verification steps are completed
Using Pivoters
In Conversation Mode, people provide more complete information, more easily and quickly than they would in a form. This allows matching to be more accurate.
About Pivoters
This group represents a too-often overlooked and untapped workforce. They bring real-world experience and long-term value to employers.
At a time when many employers struggle to fill roles, Pivoters helps connect them with experienced candidates who are ready and willing to contribute.
For Job Seekers
That’s okay. Whether you’re re-entering the workforce or exploring something new, you’ll have the chance to provide a complete picture of your skills, strengths, and interests — whether they were gained in prior jobs or through life experience.
For Employers
No. Candidates are surfaced only through optimized matching. There are no public lists or resume databases to browse.
Pricing
Employers pay only when they say they are interested in a specific candidate and that candidate in turn says they are interested in the role. At that point, the employer is charged, and contact information is provided.
Privacy
No. Your profile is not publicly searchable. Your identity is shared only after mutual interest and your approval.
